DualVox Membership Agreement

This Agreement is a supplement between you and Zhongke Youyun (Beijing) Information Technology Co., LTD (“Zhongke Youyun” or “we”) about DualVox paid membership. It applies together with the User Agreement and Privacy Policy. If they conflict on paid membership, this Agreement controls.

1. Membership benefits

  1. Service name: DualVox Membership. After you pay for a plan shown on the purchase screen, each subscription period includes extra capabilities such as removing the DualVox wordmark from videos, all looks and picture effects, all window shapes, all cartoon / character / animal avatars, and benefits we add later and show on the membership screen. 720p / 1080p quality is available to all users and is not gated by membership.
  2. What you get in each period follows the in-app membership screen at the time of purchase. We may change the set of benefits as the product evolves and will notify you as required by law. Core benefits already paid for in a current period will not be taken away without cause.
  3. Price and duration follow the purchase screen and the App Store confirmation sheet. On iOS, payment is completed through Apple In-App Purchase. We do not collect your card numbers.

2. Auto-renewable subscriptions (iOS App Store)

Current plans are auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly). Please read the following before you confirm a purchase:

  1. Title and length: DualVox Membership; monthly is 1 month; yearly is 12 months. During each period you can use the membership benefits listed on the membership screen.
  2. Price: the price shown on the purchase screen and in the App Store payment sheet in local currency (including applicable tax). The renewal price matches the plan you subscribed to unless we give legally required notice of a change.
  3. Payment account: payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  4. Auto-renewal: the subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  5. Renewal charge: your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the renewal price.
  6. Manage and cancel: after purchase, you can manage the subscription or turn off auto-renewal in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or use “Manage subscription” in the DualVox membership screen. After you turn it off, the current paid period remains usable until it ends; then it will not renew or charge again.
  7. Restore: after changing devices or reinstalling, use “Restore purchases” on the membership screen with the same Apple ID.
  8. Free trial: if a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication.
  9. Refunds and billing disputes for iOS In-App Purchases are handled by Apple under App Store rules. You may also request a refund from your Apple ID purchase history. Except where the law or Apple’s rules require otherwise, we generally cannot refund purchases you made in error or renewals you did not cancel in time.

3. Account and use limits

  1. You can subscribe with your Apple ID without first signing in to a DualVox account. After you sign in, membership status can be shown with the account. Use “Restore purchases” on a new device.
  2. Do not lend the account or share the subscription for large-scale use by others. If we find theft, abuse, or violations of law or this Agreement, we may limit, freeze, or end the related benefits.
